We tried to get up to Red Fleet all summer and finally made it. With school starting on Wednesday we decided we had better get it done or it wasn't happening this year. We loaded up the cruiser and left right after dinner. We arrived a little before eight, we got the tent set up with help from everyone and enjoyed a short walk around the area before enjoying a campfire and going to bed. The moon was almost full so it made for a bright night light. After one too many scary stories and knock knock jokes (mostly by Oliver) the kids fell asleep, only to wake up way too early. We had breakfast and then packed up camp and unloaded the boats. We spent the rest of the time paddling to the dinosaur tracks and swimming. For the most part we had the lake to ourselves. It was a quick trip but a fun one.
